Phone Call With Malala

AmbassadorGraphicMalala is now a household name signifying the fight for girls' education. In 2012, Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head because she defied the Taliban by demanding that girls in Pakistan deserve an education. The bullet that went through her head, neck, and shoulder didn't redirect her passion, after recovering, the global attention she received allowed her the ability to take her education for girls movement worldwide. In honor of the upcoming release of her film, "He Named Me Malala", I was asked to be an ambassador. This honor allowed me the opportunity to join her on a phone call. Right after the call, I hopped on Periscope to give my Resilient Family a recap of the dynamic experience. Watch the video below!

What are your thoughts on education? Why is it so powerful?
