Hey Resilient Family, I’m Ashley!

I am a resiliency activator, motivational speaker, mental health aficionado, content creator, sexual health education lover, and gratitude filled young woman. I’m originally from NYC, a Queen from Queens to be exact.

I was raised by Nana so I have an affinity for elderly people. She instilled in me the importance of education and being a good person. I owe everything to her. When people compliment me, I acknowledge that it is my Nana living through me. Isn't she so fly in her mink coat?

I earned a B.A. from Hofstra University in Broadcast Journalism so I love on camera appearances and video editing. As a Bill Gates Millennium Scholar, I earned my Master of Public Health in May 2016.

I genuinely love life. It has taken me a long time to love who I am- and honestly it's an ongoing process, not a destination. I use my platform to give you a transparent peek into my journey and how I remain resilient in hopes of it inspiring you to do the same.

I find joy in impacting the lives of others through service, education, and inspiration. I was born into difficult family circumstances that I couldn’t change so instead I made the best of every situation by finding something to be grateful for.

I believe, there is an immeasurable amount of talent wasted daily because people don’t have faith in themselves to rise above their circumstances. Therefore, I am dedicated to creating content and experiences that help people realize how resilient they are.

Life is a struggle for me as well, so this journey is for the both of us, so we Don’t Die Afraid.
